No other sequel opening this summer hits home better.
With the expansion into furniture, A+R is opening a second location in L.A. later this summer on La Brea Avenue.
Expect a wider, yet—as always—edited range of the many design houses A+R helped establish in the Americas, including Hay Denmark, Oscar Zieta, Muuto, RS Barcelona, Design House Stockholm, Industry of All Nations and Cerro.
Recent discoveries such as RUX Design, New Duivendrecht and Karimoku New Standard mark their debuts outside their home countries at A+R, too.
The 2,300-square-foot space, situated diagonally from American Rag and next to the Shepard Fairey-enhanced parking structure, is part of the re-fitted La Brea District. This stretch between 1st and 2nd Streets is undergoing a radical revival of independently owned shops and restaurants.
In line with the District’s emphasis on community, the roomier A+R also means more events with designers, chefs, architects, photographers and the many creatives who keep us inspired.
